Employment protection
Certain groups of people, such as children and young people, or women, primarily expectant and breastfeeding mothers, require special protection. Children under 15 years of age may only be employed in certain individual cases. Expectant and breastfeeding mothers have the right to maternity protection, protection against dismissal, maternity leave and, in certain cases, the right to part-time employment.
In addition to the safeguards for children, young people and women, the employment protection also governs working time and rest periods (including the special provisions for certain professions, such as drivers).
