Further information on work and disability
The Business Service Portal (USP) provides employers with information on what they need to consider when hiring staff and what forms of employment are available. In particular, people with disabilities must not be discriminated against.
Companies with 25 or more employees must employ one person with a disability for every 25 employees. Entrepreneurs who themselves have a disability and companies that employ people with disabilities receive financial support.
If you require further information, the USP can provide you with detailed information on support measures, subsidies and protective provisions:
- Prohibition on discrimination in the working world
- Beneficiaries with disabilities
- Protective provisions for beneficiaries with disabilities
- Disability-friendly workplace
- Subsidies for employees
- Subsidies for employers
- Requirements for employers (employment obligation)
- Subsidies for self-employed persons with disabilities
- Training measures
- Labour assistance and technical assistance
- Sheltered work
